We are always open to hearing how we can better serve our current and future business community.

In an effort to connect local businesses with La Porte students, the Greater La Porte Economic Development Corporation, the City of La Porte, La Porte Community School Corporation and the Greater La Porte Chamber of Commerce have partnered to create a series of business and education initiatives to engage the La Porte Community in the education and preparation of our students. These connections will allow the students to learn first-hand many lessons including types of career opportunities available in La Porte, characteristics of the business world, types of employer expectations, and the different skills and qualifications necessary to pursue particular career fields. The Business and Education Engagement Initiative also allows local businesses the opportunity to directly influence their future workforce for continued success and business growth. There are several options of engagement for businesses to choose from that range in both time and financial investment size. The goal is to have a variety of opportunities so that businesses could choose an option that best fits their ideas and work environment.
